Threading

Brow Tinting

Tinting is the perfect solution for you if you constantly darken your brows. We use an organic, vegetable-based tinting formula that is 100 percent ammonia free to customize each brow shade, complementing your skin tone. Your new color will last about 2 – 3 weeks and will not tint your skin.

Brow Lamination

Brow lamination is a semipermanent, non-invasive process that temporarily manipulates the direction of your natural brow hair pattern into the desired shape. Hairs are lifted creating a fuller, fluffier brow promising you a bolder, stylized look. The vegan brow lamination process only takes a few simple steps (redirect brow hairs, lamination to set shape, hydrate and condition brow hairs) to take your brows to the next level. It can also be used to straighten curly/kinky hair and correct brow symmetry by redirecting hairs. The results can be as natural or as extreme as you’d like.

Japanese Scalp Treatment

Japanese skincare is all about simplicity and keeping it as natural as possible. I use these same principals when treating your scalp.

Using camelia oil (from the flowering tree indigenous to Japan) as a base, this treatment hydrates, relaxes, detoxifies and invigorates all at the same time! It helps increase blood flow, clears the hair follicle to promote growth and overall wellness of your hair and scalp.

A semi-permanent hair treatment that adds both shine and helps even tones for healthy, shiny hair. This service is like Lip gloss for your hair! It can provide toning to any brassy/yellow hair or deepen any red or brunette.

Meet Kayla

Kayla Weiss has always had a creative mind and showed her love for the beauty industry from an early age. After graduating from Paul Mitchell The School in 2009, Kayla started work as an assistant in Artesia, CA in the Indian district of east Los Angeles. There, she quickly graduated to stylist and was trained by expert eyebrow threading specialist Brenda Pham.

Over the next 2 years Kayla plied her craft at SHIN, named one of the nations top 100 salons and top 5 in California by Elle Magazine. Taking on multiple roles at SHIN, Kayla was the salon’s only facial threading artist and worked with high end clients and celebrities.

In the years to follow, Kayla styled hair and shaped brows for TV, film, runway and weddings. In 2015, styling wigs at The Walt Disney Company, was her entrance into the I.A.T.S.E. Hair Stylists and Make-up Artists Guild Local 706.

In 2016, Kayla pursued her love of threading and became Co-owner of Thread Eyebrows in Studio City, CA. She preforms threading, microblading, brow lamination and tinting services.

Currently, she is so excited to be offering private and semi private threading classes, for those interested in learning The Art of Professional Threading.
